This piece was written for a lunchbox concert at ANU School of Music featuring the works of David Worrall and students. The piece is made up of 4 fixed media parts which were burnt to CDs and played out of car speakers late one night in an empty suburban car park. These sounds were recording using a zoom H2n and played back using a quadraphonic speaker set up in the ANU’s Big band room.
The cars were driven by: Gina Morrison, Cary Longman, Dan Hirst and Benjamin Drury
Below is the recording, reduced to a stereo file, and a short video of one of the performances of the piece.
